Time to shine a light on one of our amazing UF alums, Tianrui Geng ’16 MFA (Graphic Design)!
Tianrui’s thesis, Bædtime Stories, is a collection of books which highlights her love for animals vis-à-vis critical thoughts on the relationships that humans and animals actually possess. Tianrui’s works move past the façade of “happy-go-lucky” existences to investigate the treatment that many animals receive throughout their lives. For example, in Chicken Little, Tianrui frankly discusses the brief life of a chicken who goes on a “50-day journey from farm to table.”
